Brief Description
According to 2022 data from the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection’s (MoWECP) Online Information System for Protection of Women and Children (SIMFONI-PPA), 987 cases of violence against people with disabilities were reported. The majority of victims were women with disabilities, accounting for 91.5% of the cases.
